rome airport white taxi meters

Rome white Taxis meters are very expensive ,
They have many add cost rules
(holydays, night service, early mornig , luggage tax, airport tax)
They are so much more expensive than public transport

You can find long lines of white Taxi meters on the street out of the airport doors

Taxi in Fiumicino and Ciampino Airport can be a very unpleasant experience. At the Rome Airport main terminal, the queue for taxis is long and many passengers find it frustrating to wait in line. The passengers include Italians, tourists

You arrive at Fiumicino airport, pick up your luggage and you walk to the taxi queue. You in a hurry. Luckily you only have a few bags. On the other hand, the line is mileage and taxis seem to come with a dropper. So you stand in line waiting your turn to take a taxi. Meanwhile time passes and you begin to get nervous. Are you tired and you can not wait to get to the hotel to make a nice shower. After forty minutes it is your turn.

This is a typical situation, which happens to those who decide to come to Rome without having booked a Private Taxi. , you will have save euros, and time . But do you really think is the right choice? A smart choice is to reserve a luxury, air-conditioned Private Car Transfer.

Some problems you might encounter with white taxis: substantial delays, cars without air conditioning … There are drivers who smoke while driving

Some private citizens dress up their cars to look like cabs. These people strategically locate themselves at airports and railway stations waiting for travelers. Beware of operators who don't display a licensed meter and ID. Use only authorized taxis (vehicles with a taximeter) that are available in the arrivals areas of the terminals. Also, some airport employees may direct you to a 'Taxi' driver if you ask where you find them when you are inside the airport terminal. The 'Taxi' could end up being a Mercedes limo, costing you double the fare of a real taxi, and a tricky situation to get out of as your luggage is locked away in the limo's trunk.
